Two Line Reviews - #92

Movie: Rosemary's Baby (1968)

Claps:
  • A Polanski film that matches Repulsion, his previous work, in the eeriness and weirdity it offers. I didn't think it was possible but he repeats it in this horror/thriller film.
  • Mia Farrow, who plays Rosemary. She's the heart and soul of this film and she carries the role with elan.
  • The screenplay - You don't know what you are going to see, till you get to see, even though clues are given during the course of the film.
  • The final 5-10 minutes. I have never been as perplexed watching a scene as I was while watching this climax!Haunting with no gimmicks!
Blips:
  • Nothing

 Overall Score: 9.7/10
