Must be the mother of all nostalgia-inducing films. Watching this film made me cry. The director Tornatore makes you believe you are the lead-role player and that makes the climax so emotional.

The love portion of Salvatore-Elena didn't create much impact in me. That part was sagging.

That 'soldier story'... chance-ae illa... A movie which any movie-lover must never miss... Beautiful relationship between small Toto and Alfredo... Anyone will be in tears in the end, while watching the clips along with old Toto... and what a music... the music album has joined my mp3 player content and stays top in the list... The evolution of cinema along with the evolution of people is portrayed beautifully... Nuovo Cinema Paradiso... a beautiful masterpiece. Its in my list of 10/10 movies.
