one of the excellent movies i have seen so far. Kikuchiyo character is fantastic.... the movie is already a shortened version...the original version was lengthier which is lost i guess. Akira's sarcastic comment of 'cutting his reel lengthwise' for further shortening, shows the director's pain in seeing his work distorted. i personally would watch the entire movie if possible with awe.
